Enterprise / Pro add-on

Brand your forms — visually, no CSS required.

A point-and-click theme designer for Modern DFFS forms. Configure colors, typography, spacing, button styles, tab styles, modal styles, and more through a visual interface — Theme Builder writes the CSS for you.

Key capabilities

  • Visual controls for colors, fonts, spacing, buttons, tabs, and modals.
  • Save to the form — apply a theme directly to the current form’s Custom CSS.
  • Export & reuse — save a theme to a file in a document library and load it via @import to apply the same look across many forms.
  • Pairs with Enterprise centralization — set a default tenant theme so every form is on-brand by default.
  1. Style on the left, see it on the right

The builder lists every part of a DFFS form — form wrapper, field container, field label, required field, panel, modal, buttons, tabs — and a dot marks each one you’ve customized. The live preview beside it restyles as you work, including a sample modal, so you’re never guessing. The CSS it writes is shown underneath and can be applied to the form’s Custom CSS, or exported as a .css file to reuse elsewhere.

The Theme Builder: on the left a theme name box, Apply to Custom CSS, Export .css and Import .css buttons, and a list of styleable sections each labeled with its CSS class; underneath, the generated CSS. On the right, a live preview of a form with title, required field, dropdown, notes, toggle and radio buttons, plus an example modal dialog.
  2. Real CSS properties — without writing CSS

Open a section and you get the properties that actually matter for it: background, text and border colors, border width, style and radius, padding, font family and size. Color pickers sit beside the hex values, and anything left blank simply isn’t written into the output.

Buttons go further — set a base style for all buttons, give it a hover state, then override individual types: primary, default, toggle on and off, and save. Each row shows the CSS selector it targets, so a developer can see exactly what will be produced.

The Form wrapper section expanded, showing inputs for background, text color, border color, border width, border style, border radius, padding, font family and font size, with a background color set to #F9FAFB. The Buttons section expanded: an All buttons group with background #3B82F6, white text and a 5px border radius, a separate Hover state group, and collapsed rows for primary, default, toggle on, toggle off and save buttons, each showing its CSS selector.

Worked example

Design a corporate theme — brand colors, your heading font, rounded buttons — and export it to a shared library. Load it via @import in each form’s Custom CSS so every form matches your brand, or set it as the default tenant theme on Enterprise.
